Price, bargain, choose, pay. Built for the Old Quarter and Sapa’s market, where haggling is friendly and expected.
The shopping arc — and the Sapa note
ENTRY → greet + anchor. INITIATION → “do you sell…?” PURPOSE → price, bargain, choose. WRAP-UP → pay, receipt, thanks. Sapa: bargaining is expected and friendly at the market and shops — a little back-and-forth is part of the experience, not a confrontation. In Hanoi supermarkets and malls, prices are fixed; don’t haggle there.

Sapa-specific: áo len (sweater) and áo mưa (raincoat) are worth knowing — the mountain mornings are cold and wet. For the boys, đồ ăn vặt (snacks) at the market.
